Am I PGP-signing my bitcoin wallet generator properly?
I'm the author of https://bitcoinpaperwallet.com -- a Javascript-powered service that generates "paper wallets" for storing bitcoins. For better security, users are encouraged to download the ZIP of the generator to run in their local browser, but I'm a little stuck in giving them ways to easily verify the integrity and authorship of the generation software once it's downloaded. (E.g. to show that the software wasn't molested on github or subsequently messed with on their local filesystem.) Validation is hugely important here since an attacker could modify the code so as to steal any bitcoins transferred into the compromised wallets. I figured PGP-signing the HTML document was a good start, right? (100% of the important bitcoin-related code is in this single HTML file.) After downloading the ZIP package for this generator, you should find a file named generate-wallet.html.sig which you can use to:
verify that generate-wallet.html hasn't been tampered with, and
get proof that it really was authored by Canton Becker ([email protected]) whose public key was published in May 2013.
For example, if you have GPG installed, you can type: gpg --verify generate-wallet.html.sig generate-wallet.html
The way I see it, people can easily search forums, etc. to verify that Canton Becker ([email protected]) is the true author of the service, and even if someone else generates a PGP public key for [email protected], it won't pre-date May 2013. Is there a better way for me to be signing the wallet generator file in a trustworthy way? Thanks for any guidance on either my process or the instructions I'm giving out.

Hey. Me and my friends are working on prototype of secure hardware Bitcoin Wallet that will generate wallet just as BrainWallet from passphrase. It’ll all work with a Raspberry PI without any bluetooth or wifi modules. It will have a little display and keyboard and it will generate your public and private wallet addresses. Since it works like BrainWallet you can easily verify that it’s legitimate - just test any passphrase and check if BrainWallet gives the same results. Also - we want to print this addresses to you so you don’t have to rewrite it on your own. That eliminates multiple checks if we didn’t make a mistake and frustration that comes along with it :) We also think of adding secure safe to that. What do you think of that idea? How can my bitcoin wallet generate multiple addresses on demand, which all get sent to the same wallet?
On Gemini and Coinbase, there is an option to "generate new bitcoin address". Presumably this is the same for any kind of wallet. How is the wallet able to have multiple addresses associated with it? Can it have "unlimited" addresses?
